The story started 2 years ago,february 14,2007(Valentine's Day) when Chief ,as he is fondly called,who is now a valued aide of one of a South East Governor, caught his wife with a younger lover at their matrimonial home in the Surulere area of Lagos State. Chief we gathered was demoralized and nearly lost his memory and life as well.Because Chief was down and out, the then wife who had two sons for him and who is a topshot in one of the most famous Oil & Gas firm in Nigeria, dumped him and subsequently filed for divorce,claiming that the Chief committed three offences, which are declaring for governorship,while he was telling her that there was no money, not sending her housekeeping money and the kids school fees and lastly refusing to renew the house rent in their Lagos home.We gathered that the womans parents pleaded with the Chief when the news got to them and advised the Chief to calm down, but they both eventually went their seperate ways. After the dissolution, Chief hooked up with a lady who is pregnant for him and whom he took to Las Vegas in America last year October for her birthday.But when information reached Chief's enstranged wife on how her husband had been spoiling the new wife and showing her off to all his friends and family during the Xmas holidays which she spent in the village with the kids, she became enraged on what she was missing out on and started threatening the lady's life. the lady, we gathered, had since left the country for her safety after several threats and harrasment from the Chief's wife whom we equally gathered, has committed adultery severally throughout her marriage with her husband, including dating her then boss, she then began to beg.
Chief we gathered, is still contemplating whether to forgive and accept her back.
